How the three numbers are calculated

Every formula is open and checkable on paper:

1. Soul number = the digits of the birth day summed to one digit. Born on the 17th: 1 + 7 = 8.
2. Destiny number = ALL digits of the date summed to one digit. 17.05.1993: 1+7+0+5+1+9+9+3 = 35 → 3 + 5 = 8.
3. Life path number = day, month and year reduced SEPARATELY, the sum reduced once more - but master numbers 11, 22 and 33 are never reduced. 17.05.1993: day 17→8, month 5, year 1993→22 (master, kept) → 8 + 5 + 22 = 35 → 8.

An honest note: schools differ. Some add all digits in one row and lose master numbers on the way; some do not recognise 33. This page uses the most common method (components reduced separately, masters preserved) - and hides nothing.

Soul number meanings

How this differs from the destiny matrix

Both systems start from the same date, but the matrix reduces numbers to the 1–22 range and reads them as Tarot arcana, while classical numerology reduces to 1–9 (plus masters) and reads through planetary cores. Neither is “the right one” - they are two languages about the same person, and where they agree is usually the loudest part of the character.
