How it is calculated: the letter charts

Every letter maps to a digit 1–9. Latin letters follow the classic Pythagorean chart; Cyrillic ones are numbered by their own alphabet order (А=1 … З=9, then the cycle repeats). Each word of the name is reduced separately, master numbers 11, 22 and 33 are never reduced; the sum of the words is reduced once more. Example: Maria in Cyrillic = 5+1+9+1+6 = 22 — a master number, kept as is.
