How the number is built
Add up every digit of the birth date and reduce the total to a single digit: 17.05.1993 gives 1+7+0+5+1+9+9+3 = 35, and then 3+5 = 8. The one exception is 11, 22 and 33, which are never reduced.

About 11, 22 and 33
A master number is not a badge. It is the same theme on a wider scale: 11 amplifies 2, 22 amplifies 4, 33 amplifies 6, and the wider scale asks for more maturity to carry, which is the whole of the difference.
Frequently asked questions
Why do calculators disagree about my number?
Master numbers, essentially always. Some tools keep 11, 22 and 33 while others push them down to 2, 4 and 6, and the two conventions part company on roughly one birth date in ten. This site keeps them, and says so on every page.
A master number showed up midway through my sum. Does it count?
Only the final total counts as a master number, so if the day and month add to 11 but the whole date settles on 7, the life path is 7. An 11 passing through the middle of the sum changes nothing at all.
Is the life path number the same as a tarot arcana for my date?
They are different systems. The life path reduces a date to one digit; the arcana draws on the 22 cards of the major arcana and is worked out another way. There is no reason for the two to agree.
Numerology is a symbolic system for self-reflection, not science. A number describes a tendency, not a fixed fate.
How this lands on your date
What is written above is the number in general. Luna reads yours next to the destiny matrix and talks about your particular date, out loud, in ordinary words.
