December 13 zodiac sign: Sagittarius, day arcana and character

Born on December 13

Two systems describe December 13. Astrology calls the date Sagittarius; the destiny matrix calls it arcana 13 (Death) and 12 (The Hanged Man). You end the year properly: not by taking stock but by actually closing what has ended, and not dragging it into January. Sagittarius dislikes debts and loose ends; the thirteenth arcana finishes things entirely.

Where your strength is

You can cut in time. You do not drag a relationship, a job or a project along out of respect for what was invested, and that is why every January of yours is genuinely new.

What comes harder

Some of what you closed in December had merely hit a bad month, and in February that would have been visible.

One thing to try

Postpone one December decision until February, with the date written down and nothing done before it.

Frequently asked questions

How many arcana are there altogether?

Twenty-two major arcana. This page uses two of them, the ones drawn from the day and the month; the full calculation brings in the birth year as well and fills considerably more positions.

What does month arcana 12 mean?

That one is The Hanged Man. Think of it as the setting rather than the character - the conditions you grew up inside and did not pick.

Is this the same as a star sign?

No. The zodiac sign comes from astrology, the arcana from the destiny matrix. They describe different things and do not contradict each other: the sign speaks about temperament, the arcana about how you move.

The destiny matrix is a language for self-reflection, not a prediction. The choices stay yours.
