December 26 zodiac sign: Capricorn, day arcana and character

Born on December 26

December 26 is a Capricorn date with month arcana 12 (The Hanged Man). Its day arcana is 8 (Strength) rather than 26, since the deck stops at twenty-two and 2+6 is what remains. The twenty-sixth of December, everyone is sleeping off the celebration, and you have already cleared up, sorted out and started thinking about January. Capricorn cannot do idleness for long; twenty-six gives the eighth arcana, whose reserves do not run out on day two.

Where your strength is

You have calm endurance on the days when nobody has any energy. You are not heroic: you simply do not crash after exertion, which is why the family in the gap between holidays is held together by you.

What comes harder

You fill the pause with tasks, because in a pause you can hear yourself too clearly.

One thing to try

Spend the twenty-sixth of December clearing nothing and planning nothing, one day of complete idleness.

Frequently asked questions

What does month arcana 12 mean?

That one is The Hanged Man. Think of it as the setting rather than the character - the conditions you grew up inside and did not pick.

Why is the day arcana 8 and not 26?

There are only twenty-two major arcana and 26 is past that. So the day number is added up digit by digit: 2+6 = 8, which makes the day arcana Strength.

Does the year of birth change this?

The day and month arcana come from the day and month only, so everyone born on this date shares them. The year adds two more arcana, and those show up in the full reading.

The destiny matrix is a language for self-reflection, not a prediction. The choices stay yours.
