January 6 zodiac sign: Capricorn, day arcana and character

Born on January 6

In the destiny matrix January 6 carries day arcana 6 (The Lovers) and month arcana 1 (The Magician). The birth sign for the date is Capricorn. You chose jobs by the people rather than the money, and have never regretted it, though you can do the arithmetic better than most. Capricorn sees the numbers; the sixth arcana still asks who you will be spending your days with.

Where your strength is

You do the sums and choose the people anyway. That combination is why you have both a decent income and colleagues you do not mind having breakfast with on a work trip.

What comes harder

You will not take on anything there is nobody to share, and so you miss the things that had to be started alone.

One thing to try

Begin one thing you have no partner for yet. Do not look for one first - just start.

Frequently asked questions

How many arcana are there altogether?

Twenty-two major arcana. This page uses two of them, the ones drawn from the day and the month; the full calculation brings in the birth year as well and fills considerably more positions.

Does the year of birth change this?

The day and month arcana come from the day and month only, so everyone born on this date shares them. The year adds two more arcana, and those show up in the full reading.

Which matters more, the day arcana or the month one?

Neither cancels the other. The Lovers is closer to how you act on your own, The Magician to the circumstances you act inside, and they are meant to be read as a pair.

The destiny matrix is a language for self-reflection, not a prediction. The choices stay yours.
