March 21: Pisces or Aries?

By the standard zodiac dates March 21 is Aries, not Pisces - the border runs right beside this day, which is why the question comes up at all. Day arcana 21 (The World), month arcana 3 (The Empress). Your birthday opens the zodiac year, and the Pisces tail is still there in the habit of sensing the mood first and deciding second. You start things before the fear has time to arrive. Beginning comes easier to you than finishing, and you know it.

Where your strength is

Your particular talent is raw initiative - you don't wait for permission or the perfect moment, you just start, and that momentum tends to pull other people along with you. When a project stalls, you're usually the one who unsticks it simply by refusing to sit still with it.

What comes harder

Because you're wired to lead, slowing down to actually finish what you started can feel like a small betrayal of your own energy. The growth here isn't about becoming someone who plans everything out - it's about learning that follow-through is its own kind of beginning.

One thing to try

Finish the thing you started this month and left open. Only then let yourself begin something new.

Frequently asked questions

So is March 21 Pisces or Aries?

By the standard zodiac dates it is Aries. The doubt is reasonable, though: the Sun does not change sign at midnight, and the exact moment drifts by a few hours from year to year. If you were born right against the border, only a chart cast for your birth time settles it.

Which matters more, the day arcana or the month one?

Neither cancels the other. The World is closer to how you act on your own, The Empress to the circumstances you act inside, and they are meant to be read as a pair.

How many arcana are there altogether?

Twenty-two major arcana. This page uses two of them, the ones drawn from the day and the month; the full calculation brings in the birth year as well and fills considerably more positions.

The destiny matrix is a language for self-reflection, not a prediction. The choices stay yours.
